Victoria’s VoxCell Wins Collision 2024 PITCH Startup Competition
Asees Kaur of Victoria’s VoxCell was declared the winner of the 2024 edition of PITCH in front of a full Centre Stage crowd today.
PITCH is Collision’s startup competition that brings together the world’s leading early-stage startups to battle it out onstage.
PITCH is open to any ALPHA and BETA startups exhibiting at Collision that have received less than $5 million in funding to date and have not had a discernible change in business model in the last three years.
Competing with VoxCell BioInnovation in the final was Toronto’s Biofect Innovations and Proceve.
VoxCell is a leader in the field of tissue engineering and announced the launch of its first product, the Universal Bioink Kit, earlier this week at Collision.
VoxCell was named one of Techcouver’s 10 homegrown startups to watch in 2023.

The Universal Bioink Kit is designed to revolutionize the 3D bioprinting landscape by providing a versatile and reliable bioink that mimics the extracellular matrix of living tissues.
The kit stands out due to its unique ability to replicate the chemical and mechanical properties of soft tissues, offering unmatched compatibility with various bioprinting technologies, including extrusion-based and digital light processing (DLP) systems.
This ready-to-use bioink supports multiple media compatibility, allowing researchers to work with a variety of cell lines and unlock new possibilities in tissue engineering.
